Migraines and Headaches in a 7 year old

Migraines and Headaches in a 7 year old

My daughter had frequent headaches throughout her school year, requiring medication about twice a week. This was in spite of adequate sleep and hydration (two of her migraine triggers). After a particularly bad migraine with vomiting, I brought her to Dr. Horning. We had already visited a neurologist who specialized in headaches and since her exam was normal, nothing further was worked up. Family history of migraines lent strongly to the diagnosis of migraines. Since Dr. Horning had greatly helped my migraine pain, I knew he could help my 7 year old daughter. After just a few visits, her headaches were practically non-existent; very, very rarely does she get a headache, and she hasn’t had a migraine since we started regular visits. Thank you so much!
